Cleaner and Reception/Shop Assistant

Work involves cleaning the premises of Skógar Museum and working in the museum shop and reception. The role is mostly cleaning, approximately 80% of the time, and approximately 20% working in the shop and reception. Skógar Museum is one of the oldest and most magnificent museums in the country, comprising a folk museum, an open-air museum, and a technical museum, situated in one of the most beautiful rural areas of Iceland. Spoken English is a requirement, and knowledge of Icelandic is a great advantage. The applicant must be able to start work around mid-September. Having a car is a significant advantage. Accommodation with shared facilities is available. We need an employee to clean the museum's premises, working in the reception of the museum as well as the gift shop in the technical museum. The job is mostly cleaning, or around 80% of the time, and around 20% of the time working in the gift shop and reception.
