We are looking for a driven and technically skilled Control and Monitoring Systems Specialist with a strong interest in systems management, operational excellence, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the reliable operation and continuous development of the data center's control and monitoring systems. You will be responsible for the implementation, maintenance, optimization, and ongoing performance of technical solutions that support the safe and uninterrupted operation of critical infrastructure. About the Role In the demanding data center environment, where operational security, uptime, and reliability are paramount, the Control and Monitoring Systems Specialist plays a critical role in supporting business operations. The role is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the facility's control, monitoring, and metering systems, including PLC, SCADA, and Building Management Systems (BMS), while ensuring their secure and reliable operation. The Specialist is responsible for the setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and development of the systems, as well as leading technical improvements and supporting operations and customers with professional service and a solution-oriented approach. Key Responsibilities - Install, monitor, and maintain technical equipment and systems. - Monitor and support electrical distribution systems. - Collaborate with the team to improve and optimize processes and procedures. - Support customers by responding to and resolving technical requests. - Own and maintain control and visualization systems. - Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities. - Ensure the reliability and availability of control systems. - Maintain PLC controllers and other automation equipment. - Assess and implement approved firmware upgrades. - Perform calibration and verification of instrumentation and metering equipment. Qualifications and Experience - Technical education, vocational training, or a degree in electrical engineering, automation, engineering, or a related technical field. - Journeyman certification or hands-on experience with electrical installation work. - Experience with Schneider PME, EcoStruxure Building operation (EBO), and Janitza GridVis is an advantage. - Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and Building Management Systems (BMS). - Strong understanding of computer and network systems. - Familiarity with communication protocols such as Modbus Serial, Modbus TCP/IP, Profibus, and Profinet. - Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams. - Structured, independent working style with a proactive mindset. - Continuous improvement mindset, strong safety awareness, and customer-focused approach. - Good written and spoken English skills. - Valid driver's license. - Clean criminal record.
