Finance Specialist

The North Iceland Healthcare Institution (HSN) is seeking an ambitious Finance Specialist to work in the institution's accounting department. The job is diverse and challenging, involving collaboration across HSN's work locations. The position can be performed from any of HSN's main work locations. The Finance Specialist reports to the Head of Accounting, Collections, and Analysis. The North Iceland Healthcare Institution provides diverse healthcare services in North Iceland and operates over 190 hospital, nursing, and residential care beds. HSN's main work locations are in Akureyri, Blönduós, Dalvík/Fjallabyggð, Húsavík, and Sauðárkrókur. The population in HSN's service area, stretching from Blönduós in the west to Þórshöfn in the east, is nearly 38,000, and the staff numbers around 800. It is desirable that the candidate can start working on January 1, 2027, or by agreement.
