Fish Farming Technician
Do you want to try something new? Arctic Fish is looking for people to work in fish farming in the Westfjords. We are looking for general workers and people with captain's or engineer's licenses for positions in Patreksfjörður, Tálknafjörður, and Arnarfjörður. The work is varied and suitable for people who enjoy working outdoors, tackling different tasks, and being part of a good team. Experience in fish farming is not necessary – the most important thing is to be diligent, reliable, and willing to learn. What does the job involve? - Feeding and monitoring farmed fish. - Managing sea cages and equipment. - Maintenance and other tasks associated with daily operations. Who fits into the team? We are looking for people who bring a positive attitude, show initiative, and enjoy working with others. Experience in fish farming, a driver's license, and captain's or engineer's licenses are an advantage but not a requirement. Working hours are 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on weekdays and 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM on weekends, seven consecutive days followed by seven days off. We encourage both women and men to apply.
