Graphic Designer - Temporary Position

Ísprjón ehf is looking for a graphic designer for a temporary position for 3-6 months. Employment percentage 50-100% by agreement. About Us Ísprjón ehf is a small family company in Hafnarfjörður that designs, produces, and sells Icelandic products – including the skincare and home fragrance brand Spa of Iceland – and operates the online store Icelandic Store. The products are sold in stores all over the country, at the duty-free shop, and online, both retail and wholesale. We are re-releasing an entire product line in new packaging and need a strong designer to follow up on this. Main Tasks - Packaging design: sleeves, boxes, gift boxes, and labels - Layout and graphics for new products - Web banners, web images, and product images for the online store and wholesale web - Content for social media, campaigns, and sales material for resellers (catalogs, product sheets) - Preparation of print files in cooperation with printing houses and packaging suppliers (dielines, colors, bleed) - Various other graphics as needed Requirements - Education and/or experience in graphic design - Very good knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign - Experience with packaging design and print preparation - A good eye for the overall brand image and ability to work within it - Independent, organized work methods and ability to deliver on time - Good Icelandic and English language skills
