Head of Education / Content Creator

📍 KópavogurIT & TechNo Icelandic requiredExternal

Every customer of 50skills builds workflows that run their people operations, and every one of those workflows is a lesson waiting to be taught. Nobody is teaching them yet. Our CEO's live demos are the best content we have, and they disappear the moment the call ends. That is the job. You find the story, work out how the product solves the problem behind it, write it, make it, and get people to watch to the end. Video first, and writing, audio and live sessions when they fit better. Webflow built a global following by teaching people in a way that was useful and genuinely fun to watch, and the people who taught became the face of the company. We want you to be that face, alongside our CEO. What you will do - Find the story: sit with customer success, sales and customers, dig into what actually runs through our products, and decide what is worth telling and why - Write it: scripts, tutorials, explainers, the words on screen. Writing is the skill this role lives on - Make it: shoot, record, edit and publish your own work. Product explainers, tutorials, customer stories, event films, short cuts for social - Teach: build the 50skills learning library, so people learn from us before they ever talk to us - Turn our CEO's live demos into finished videos, then into a library nobody has to re-record - Get content out of others: the CEO, our ambassadors, our customers - Publish weekly with our Marketing Manager, who owns the channels and the numbers. Cover our events in Reykjavík, Stockholm and Oslo with the Community Manager - Lead the Education Producer: set the standard, decide what ships, and grow the team when the volume earns it - Use AI daily to research, draft, get feedback and cut. Practice what you preach How this role works You get free hands. The brief is to explain the product and teach people, and permission to start and finish any idea you believe in. You will work like a small startup inside 50skills: two people, a studio you set up yourselves, and a weekly rhythm you own. Iceland is the preferred base because proximity to the customer success team, our CEO and Icelandic customers is the fastest route to product fluency. We are open on location for the right person. Who you are - You can write. Show us something you wrote that drew attention - You can edit. Which tool does not matter; that you cut your own work does - You come from the video world, or from writing, teaching or a newsroom, and you are curious enough to learn a product until you could sell it - You have made things people forwarded. We will ask for those before a CV - Comfortable on camera, or comfortable directing someone who is - You ship, then improve. Good sound and a consistent look first, perfection later - Someone people enjoy working with. This matters as much as the reel - Fluent English. Most of what we publish ships in English Nice to have - Icelandic or Swedish - An audience of your own, in HR or anywhere else - Motion graphics, sound, or photography - Comfort with no-code tools, APIs, or prompting an AI into building something - HR or people operations experience: a benefit, never a requirement First 3 months - Fluent in our products: you can build a workflow and explain what it does - A weekly publishing rhythm running - The first CEO demos turned into finished video - One piece that beats anything we have published First 12 months - Content is a reason people know 50skills - A learning library sales and customer success send instead of running a live demo - A two-person team producing to a standard you set - You are a recognised face of 50skills, on screen and on stage
