Head of Product Selection and Purchasing

Product selection and purchasing is responsible for the product range and product selection of Vínbúðin, as well as managing the product flow to them in line with customer demand. The Head of Product Selection and Purchasing leads the development of product selection and is responsible for purchasing and inventory management. We are looking for a leader who has the ability to lead and motivate a team to success. Furthermore, it is important that the individual possesses good communication skills and finds it easy to build successful cooperation with a diverse group of colleagues and customers. The individual needs to possess good analytical skills and find it easy to identify opportunities for improvement. The position reports to the Director of Product Selection and Purchasing.
