Hotel Manager

Flóra Collection is seeking an experienced and ambitious Hotel Manager to lead Reykjavík Residence Hotel in the heart of Reykjavík. Reykjavík Residence Hotel is a 4-star boutique hotel offering 101 rooms and apartments across nine historic buildings in downtown Reykjavík. The hotel combines the unique character and history of its properties with modern comfort, personal service and memorable guest experiences. The Hotel Manager is responsible for the hotel’s daily operations, leading a strong team and ensuring exceptional service, efficient operations and a positive workplace culture. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the hotel’s daily operations Lead, support and develop employees while fostering a strong team and positive workplace culture Ensure exceptional service, quality and memorable guest experiences Develop processes and continuously improve operational efficiency Oversee goals, budgets, financial performance and cost control Monitor guest feedback and reviews and ensure appropriate follow-up Oversee quality, safety and property maintenance Work closely with other departments and management across Flóra Collection Qualifications Experience in management and operations within hospitality or tourism is preferred Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent service mindset and interpersonal skills Strong written and spoken English Financial literacy and strong business understanding Positive attitude, initiative and drive Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently About Flóra Collection Flóra Collection is an Icelandic hospitality company focused on exceptional service and memorable guest experiences.
