Kitchen Shift Manager

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Kitchen Shift Manager to join the kitchen team at Abba-labba-lá, the restaurant at Skáld Hotel in Akureyri. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being part of daily service while also taking responsibility for the kitchen team and the operation during each shift. As Kitchen Shift Manager, you will work closely with the Head Chef and be responsible for leading the kitchen during your shifts. We are looking for someone who leads by example, stays calm during busy service, and takes pride in maintaining high standards. The role is well-suited for an experienced cook who is ready to take on more responsibility and wants to develop further as a leader in the kitchen. You will have the opportunity to work closely with the Head Chef, participate in the development of the kitchen, and become an important part of a growing and ambitious team at Abba-labba-lá.
