Lecturer in Environmental Engineering

A full-time position for a Lecturer in Environmental Engineering is open for application at the Department of Environmental and Civil Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Iceland. The department's goal is to strengthen studies and research in engineering methods that contribute to a sustainable society. The new lecturer is intended to lead teaching and research in the fields of water engineering and renewable energy engineering. Special emphasis is placed on the following fields: Hydrology and/or fluid mechanics in cold climates, utilization of water, wind, and/or ocean energy, large datasets such as climate models and satellite data, water and energy infrastructure. The lecturer will be based at the University of Iceland in Reykjavík. According to the regulations of the University of Iceland, the duties of teachers are divided into three main components: research, teaching, and management.
