Are you looking to work in an ambitious workplace with challenging and varied projects? We are looking for an experienced mechanic to join our workshop at Borgahella 9, 221 Hafnarfjörður. The job involves repairing cars, trucks, heavy machinery and equipment such as soil compactors and concrete saws. You will be in charge of the workshop and how it is organised, and will be involved in purchasing spare parts, consumables and equipment. Stéttafélagið is a fast-growing, forward-looking contractor working in earthworks, utility installations, construction and landscaping. The company is very active in public tenders. Our projects include school building extensions, renovations of municipal properties, our own new-build developments, utility projects for various utility companies, road construction and site works. We operate in the Greater Reykjavík Area and surrounding regions. Thanks to a strong project pipeline, we are looking to grow our team of machine operators and mechanics. We offer a good and flexible working environment, with plenty of room for career development at a fast-growing company.
