Personal Assistant (Full-time)

Do you have initiative, drive, and flexibility? Then I am looking for you! I am looking for a personal assistant. I am a 40-year-old woman with a physical disability, living in Hafnarfjörður with my son and partner. I work for an advocacy organization for disabled women and queer people. I need assistance with most things that come with being a person and participating actively in society. I need assistance with personal hygiene, household chores, cooking, and getting around, among other things. This is a 100% position or 6-day shifts per month. It is important to be able to work on weekdays and show flexibility with shift arrangements. The job is convenient alongside other tasks as it involves longer and fewer shifts than usual. That is, 24-hour shifts which include sleeping night shifts. Applicants must have a driver's license, speak Icelandic or English, be flexible, ready for good cooperation, and open to new experiences. Also, to be smoke and e-cigarette free and have a clean criminal record. It is desirable that the applicant can begin adaptation in November and start work at the end of that month.
