Production Control Manager

Orka náttúrunnar is looking for a progressive leader to build and lead production control within Power Production. Production control is a new unit that supports the electricity and hot water production of power plants with a focus on data analysis, planning, resource management, performance metrics, overview of maintenance projects, and operational improvements. As department manager, you will be responsible for shaping the department's operations, building a strong team, and ensuring comprehensive coordination of production and maintenance projects for ON's power plants. You will ensure that plans, prioritization, data, analysis, and improvement projects support safe, efficient, and sustainable operations. The role requires clear oversight, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work across operations, maintenance, technology, resource management, and development projects.
