Project Manager, Maintenance Plans

Take part in shaping the future of the country's largest real estate portfolio as a Project Manager for Maintenance Plans. Framkvæmdasýslan-Ríkiseignir (FSRE) manages the country's largest real estate portfolio and is now working on developing comprehensive long-term maintenance plans, a task that has not been approached in this manner before. We are looking for a strong Project Manager for Maintenance Plans to join the team responsible for this project. This offers an opportunity to significantly influence the development of the project and its procedures, analyze the condition and maintenance needs of properties, and influence the prioritization of tasks to maintain the value of the properties and ensure their best use. In this role, you will manage property condition assessments and the creation of short-term and long-term maintenance plans, and participate in developing procedures and standards for condition assessment. You will be involved in preparing tender documents and contracts for condition assessment and will work closely with property management, the service desk, and institutional representatives. The properties are of all types and located throughout the country, ranging from schools, health institutions, and police stations to cultural centers and historical buildings. Some domestic travel may be associated with the position.
