Quality Assurance/Control Manager
Verne Global is seeking to hire an experienced Quality Assurance/Control Manager to lead quality control in a large-scale data center construction project, managed under a "FIDIC Yellow Book" design and build contract. The successful candidate will be the company's leading representative for quality matters on site and will be responsible for ensuring that design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover meet contractual requirements, technical needs, relevant standards, and client expectations. This is a key role in ensuring a high-quality and safe facility, as well as supporting the project's objectives regarding progress and operational performance. Key tasks and responsibilities: - Overall supervision of quality control processes and adherence to quality requirements. - Review of quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITP), specifications, and technical documentation. - Monitoring the quality of construction, inspections, tests, commissioning, and handover preparation. - Management of non-conformance reports, defects, punch lists, corrective actions, and reporting. - Ensuring that quality documents, test data, and handover documents are complete, traceable, and ready for audit. - Supporting client audits and managing the project's approval process. Education and qualification requirements: - Good experience in managing quality control in projects related to data centers, civil engineering, industry, power plants, or complex construction projects. - Good knowledge of design and construction projects and FIDIC contracts. - Experience in commissioning, testing, handover, and quality management systems. - Excellent communication skills, ability to interact with stakeholders, and a solution-oriented mindset. - Ability to achieve results in a fast-paced and demanding environment. - Initiative, independence, and organized work methods.
