Service Station Staff

Vegagerðin is seeking reliable staff to perform diverse tasks at the service station in Akureyri. Work is performed during the service station's opening hours, but staff also undertake on-call duties outside of regular working hours from October to April, every day of the week, for monitoring road conditions and winter maintenance. Vegagerðin operates 18 service stations throughout the country, which are responsible for general services and maintenance of roads and road infrastructure in their respective areas. The role of the service stations is to ensure that the condition of roads, road areas, and transport infrastructure is such that traffic flows as smoothly and safely as possible, all year round.
