Shift Supervisor - KEF Restaurant

Do you want to lead a team, take responsibility, and influence the guest experience? KEF Restaurant at Hotel Keflavík is looking for a strong and positive shift supervisor for an ambitious and fun team. This is a 100% position. Work is done in shifts, both day and evening shifts. Shifts can be on weekdays and weekends. We are looking for an individual who has extensive experience in service, a burning passion for guest experience, and ambition for sales. We want to create an experience that guests remember – with good presence, professional service, knowledge of food and wines, and an eye for opportunities to make the experience even better. As a shift supervisor, you are a role model on the floor and lead the team in providing excellent service, creating sales, and ensuring that every guest experiences good service from the beginning to the end of their visit. We are looking for a person who: - Has experience in service roles at a restaurant - Has a strong interest and preferably good knowledge of food and wines - Loves to provide good service and enjoys interacting with guests - Is organized and has an eye for detail - Is interested in sales and sees opportunities to recommend, upsell, and enhance the guest experience - Is positive and confident in communication - Can take initiative and be a leading role model for colleagues - Can remain calm when busy and ensure that the service level remains high Experience in shift supervision or similar responsibility is an advantage, but not a requirement. Role of the Shift Supervisor You lead the shift and are a role model on the floor. You support the team, follow service standards, ensure good flow, and make sure the guest is always the priority. We want the shift supervisor to be active in service, pay close attention, notice opportunities, and help the team create a better experience and increase sales.
