Site Manager at NATO Radar and Communications Station

The Icelandic Coast Guard wishes to hire a site manager for work at the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's radar and communications station at Gunnólfsvíkurfjall on Langanes. An interested individual is sought to manage operations and perform maintenance on the equipment and facilities of the radar and communications station. The individual must be results-oriented, show initiative, and be able to handle challenging tasks under difficult conditions. The job involves daily supervision and monitoring, as well as maintenance of areas, equipment, devices, and structures. This is a daytime job, but the individual must also be able to respond to call-outs outside of regular working hours. Consequently, residing in the vicinity is desirable.
