Site Manager at NATO Radar and Communications Station

The Icelandic Coast Guard wishes to hire a site manager for work at the NATO radar and communications station at Bolafjall near Bolungarvík. An interested individual is sought to manage operations and maintenance of the radar and communications station's equipment and facilities. The individual must be results-oriented, show initiative, and be able to handle challenging tasks under difficult conditions. The job involves daily supervision and monitoring, as well as maintenance of areas, equipment, devices, and structures. It is a daytime job, but the individual must also be able to respond to call-outs outside of regular working hours. Therefore, residing in the nearby area is desirable.
