Travel Consultant & Guide (Chinese Market)

You'll be passionate about presenting Iceland as a destination — both as a travel consultant behind the scenes and as a guide out on the road with clients. Forest Cat Travel is a brand of Travel Connect, one of Iceland's largest travel groups, based in Reykjavík. We focus on incoming Chinese-speaking travellers to Iceland and Northern Europe. We’re looking for talented and enthusiastic candidates who will thrive in our team. You will receive good training and mentoring to prepare you for the different facets of your role. In this role you will be part of a success-driven and growing environment. Main responsibilities - Selling travel packages and add-ons, and preparing tailored offers and itineraries for clients - Responding to enquiries and processing bookings - Preparing detailed, high-quality travel documents for clients - Communicating with suppliers - Guiding small groups of Chinese-speaking travellers in Iceland - Other duties as assigned Skills & qualifications - Excellent command of Chinese and English, written and spoken - Experience in tourism and/or sales is an advantage - Positive, service-oriented attitude with strong communication skills - Good knowledge of Icelandic nature and tourism - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills - Bus license - Interest in nature photography is a plus Why join us Travel Connect is a fast-growing travel company running nine travel agencies, each focused on different customer segments, with Travel Connect Services providing shared support behind them.
