We are looking for a positive, independent, and ambitious individual to work at the Department of Medical Genetics and Molecular Medicine (ESD) at Landspítali. Approximately 50 people work in a strong interdisciplinary team at the department. ESD provides comprehensive genetic health services and is the only department of its kind in Iceland. The department falls under research services and handles diagnostics, scientific research, consultation, and teaching of healthcare professionals in the field. The work atmosphere is characterized by cooperation, agility, support, and ambition. Working hours are from 8 AM to 4 PM on weekdays, and it is desirable for the applicant to be able to start as soon as possible. The work week for full-time employees is 36 hours, which supports a better work-life balance.
